Hi All.

Looking forward to being back on two wheels as a fun machine for pleasure.
Had a few scoots in the past inc a Gilera GP800 which was great.
So looking forward to a few meets and ride outs in the Kent area.

Hi
I have been a member of the club for just over a year but never used the forum.
I have a nice 1974 CL125S and just bought a CB 125S in bits - and will be needing some help rebuilding it. Hopefully some of you know these bikes better than me and might be able to help?
Gary  Smile

  Honda Stream 50cc tilting scooter
Posted by: Mac65 - 05-06-2016, 03:27 AM - Forum: General Nattering - Replies (1)

Hi everyone,
Just following up from my post as a newbie, and the kind responses from some of you, - I'm still seeking information about these little tilting three wheel scooters produced between 1981 -1983 .
I know of one dead one in Leicester area, does anyone else know of any on the road anywhere? Surely I'm not the only one?

  I am a Newbie
Posted by: Mac65 - 29-05-2016, 07:58 AM - Forum: Introduce yourself here - Replies (4)

Hi everyone,
I am a newbie,  having recently retired, giving up the company car (can't afford to run two cars) the wife having the family car proved a wrench, and in preparation using "Grand dad rights" e.g. Holding a car licence since 1968, allowing me to drive up to 50cc without that CBT thingy, obtained a moped/scooter, which I have used infrequently for the last year or so, a very reliable 4 stroke Pulse Scout.
However, being a bit of an extrovert and ex Kit Car builder /owner, wanted something quirky and different, within the remit of up to 50cc on my car licence, hence coming to my local find of the Honda Stream.
So, ... Whilst not a big powerful Goldwing or something similar, sounding a little like a demented lawn mower on speed, I get as many looks / questions as many I suppose.
But it is lonely, as I can't seem to find anyone else who has one, never mind spares etc. I'd upload photos on here of the Stream, but as I have only just joined this forum, don't know how to.!
Thanks for reading this.....
Mac.

Hi Everyone,
At long last I have got this little scooter/trike thingy on the road and am using it. When getting it roadworthy, I found it impossible to get spares, - apart from a few photo's on a Google search, the Stream seems to have dissapeared from memory!! Are they as rare as they seem to be? Have other people got them hidden away? Or on the road? Is there a register for them? Does anyone know how many are actually left on the road? And has anyone got any insight/stories about them?
Thanks Everyone,
Mac from Barnsley.
