I had a Stebel Nautilus on the Blackbird, it used to scare me!  Smile

Thinking of getting one on the VFR1200f, reading up on recent reviews gives an impression
of unreliability and early failures.

Has anyone tried one, also, I've heard they're difficult to squeeze in to available in fairing space?

  Any thoughts?

Well done to to Alan (I assume) Big Grin  as he is the first member, as an "old" forum user very little i think is needed in the line of re-introductions.

'spose as an intro, suffice it to say "50 years of on and off motorcycling seems to have made me very little the wiser !!"
But i have ended up with mostly Hondas but am not a member here 'cos i can't afford to be a member of all the special interest groups that i frequent Sad
Next little trip is to the German Diesel Bike Rally 12/13th Sep. on the CG

Won't let me post piccies 'till my 3rd post

Damm Rolleyes

Quite surprised when Privelege gave me the best quote for my bike. I use them for the car.

MCN Compare always seem to find me a good quote, so I'll use it again next time. Last year
would you believe Saga gave me the best quote!  Smile

  Nail!!
Posted by: Red Mick - 01-09-2015, 11:36 PM - Forum: General Nattering - Replies (7)

Just ready for a pootle today, when I noticed what I thought was a stone in the back tyre,
no, it was a nail head, when I pushed it about, I could hear the dreaded whistle.

Tyre is still inflated to full pressure, so I dare take steady ride to National Tyres tomorrow.

As it's in the tread centre, it should be repairable.

I must confess, I don't always check all around the tyres before a rideout, do you???

P.S. Has anyone else noticed this forum's insistence on English spelling being wrong?      TIRES!!! Confused
