Hi, Im looking around for somebody who owns a 1971 CB250 K3. I'm restoring one at present and it would help if I could look over somebody's bike especially the wiring as struggling with not quite the right diagram. I live near Reading Berkshire so say within a 50-60 mile radius...

Appreciate anybody who could help.

Thanks

Back on a Honda after many years. Had a quite a few years without bike what with various family things, then about 15 years on Harleys. Eventually they were to heavy on my gravel drive.
Visited a weekly get together in Surrey and saw the XBR500 and decided i wanted one, which i now have. Just in the process of changing out the cam as it was noisy.

Hi Folks,
Joined a few weeks ago but only just gotten round to posting on here, I ride an NC750X in red, 2017 model and live in Lincolnshire. Fair weather rider and would have ridden more if not for the current situation.
Hopefully get out more soon and maybe see some of you out and about.

Hi.

Just joined after many years of motorcycling. At present I have two Honda's, a 1971 CB500 four and 1977 CB400 T. Hopefully once this pandemic is sorted, I will get to meet a few people form the club. Keep safe and keep riding.

Hi, new to the group, but have been a Honda guy for a long time, plus a few others, Ducati & Triumph. Have a cd175, cbr600 Benetton, cb750 K2, cbr900 urban tiger, plus restoring a cb250 k3.

Attempting a complete ground restore on the cb250...still away to go, sourcing parts without breaking the bank the hardest. I guess the reconnect of all the wiring...new loom will test me, but stuck on something really stupid. The front wheel did not have all parts so re assembly from diagrams etc is testing...not absolutely sure which way the spindle goes in and if it has any spacers or washers. If anybody has an early 70’s cb250 or 350 appreciate a picture of the setup...or some advice...thanks

  CD175 Sloper
Posted by: ronnie.kerr - 15-06-2020, 01:07 PM - Forum: Introduce yourself here - No Replies

Hi, I am starting a restoration of a 1967 sloper and am looking for any tips I can get. I have a factory workshop manual which seems to lack a bit of description on how to carry out some tasks, example the coil and rectifier are located inside the frame but no guidance on how to remove or reinstall. Would a Clymer manual or the Haynes Manual covering Honda CB125, 160, 175, 200 & CD175 Twins 1964-78 be a better guide?
