Think i'm just too 'old school' cos i find most in-line 4s bland, just me i'm sure, but i like to feel an engine a bit more. V twins, singles or at a push parallel twins are what floats my boat.
My mate has a Fazer 800 and it does everything better than my CB500................but in my books the CB is better
So given more money i reckon i would be looking at the New Africa twin and although i have never considered a HD before the new Street 750 looks reasonable.

While I was at the 'H' at Berinsfield last night I had a good sniff round the bikes, clocking a nice new CBF500, and a CBF1000. I do appreciate Mr Honda making bikes with adjustable seats.
The styling of the CBF500 makes it one of my favourites but I'm also drawn to the 1000 though either would need a small lotto win for my finances lol

Thanks for the kind comment Jimmy - shed being the right word when you look close! It's OK for now though, and it is giving me lots of pleasure getting used to biking again.
