Adding pictures to your post
#1
We have a new feature on this board to stop us using our limited attachment space.

If you want to show of your bike or some other picture, please use the Image uploader which is shown at the bottom of the post edit window.

Just click on "Show Image Upload Form", click on "Browse" to select your file", choose the content type (and we don't want any of "Adult content" please) and click on "Upload" (it's white on grey so it's not that easy to see - sorry). If you then click on "BB Code" you can copy the code that appears. Then paste it into the post you are creating

Here's an example

As of December 2016, the old method will not work. Use this one instead.

The principle is that you upload your pictures to a hosting service and then put a link in with your post that will show the picture.

I've had a look around and this method seems to be the simplest. so, here's how:

1. Create your post or reply.
2. In another window, open up https://postimage.org/ - you should see an image like this (click on it to expand it):
3. Click on the "Choose Images" button and choose your image to upload.

4. Once it is done, you will see a picture like this:

5. Click on the little icon next to the arrow and in line with the text "Thumbnail for forums". That will copy the link to the clipboard

6. Paste the link into your post wherever you want it.

That's it.
