Modifying passenger leg room CBR250
#1
Took my wife out on the bike yesterday and after about 45 minutes she was complaining about her knees hurting. She has been on the back of my bikes before, but usually half an hour max. Does anyone know of a way to make more leg room for the passenger. It seems difficult to lower the foot rest on the exhaust side without modifying the exhaust tubing. I thought that possibly a higher passenger seat, but I guess it would have to be custom made.

My better half is fairly short but we are both in our mid 60's and are not as flexible as we used to be. Shy

they do lowering kits for some it might be some from another CBR might fit...??... if you had the seat made higher would help but would also lift the weight higher on the bike but not by much... these were on ebay not cheap and like you say may not be very good on the exhaust side... Foot Rests

of course great excuse to get another bike which is comfy on the back so you have best of both worlds....

Could you move the foot rests forward ? would that help ? I know my wife can not stand her knees under her chin so to speak, which limits the type of bike I buy.
