Hi

In 75 I first joined HOC and had a lot of fun touring on the first registered Honda 400/4 F1 in the country, more Honda's followed 500/4. 750/4 F1 and a little cd175.  They all did very high mileage and never let me down, and now 45 years later its a Honda CB500x.  Hope to meet you all soon.

Hi Mick!
Are you still an HOC member? If you've re-joined, it used to be that re-joining members got issued with their original membership number. Any idea what yours from 1975 is/was?
You had a CB400F1? The F1 was a USA/Canada only model. Or was it an original F you had? I would have thought the first registered ones were those on the Honda UK test fleet. Do you know the fate of your one?
Everyone knows Red VFRs are faster than any other colour.

Hi

Still have the yellow membership card, will try to find it out.  The 400/4 engine was stolen along with the 750/F1 as they were both in the same garage, however the 400 was known all over the country as I went rallying with it for years most weekends and it had covered 69,000 miles by the time it was stolen.
