Membership Questions
#1
Hi All,
I've been on the site as I quite fancied joining HOC and at £22 that's very reasonable however the site seems to be quite out of date ( I mean no disrespect with that ) and wondered what you all get with the membership?, other than meeting like minded bikers of course..
Hope that's a fair question..
Cheers

Hi Steve,
Can you please point out what appears to be 'out of date', so it can hopefully be updated or corrected? While perhaps some things on the HOC website might not be particularly current (and some of the individual Branch websites don't seem to have been updated for quite a while), I don't think there's much that is exactly 'out of date' (as in incorrect) on the main HOC website.
Everyone knows Red VFRs are faster than any other colour.

I understand that the main site is currently looking for a new webmaster, or they may have only just got the new one in place, this this would account for some issues.  Also my understanding is that a lot of HOC is managed via Facebook, something i no longer use, and have no intention of going back to.

Sorry for the late return in reply - I didn't say anything was 'incorrect' and I did say I meant no disrespect with my statement however was more pondering on what you get for the membership unless you can provide me with a link to where I Can find out?

I may have just been looking at part of the site so possibly should have been more clear but I cant find where I was on the site yesterday now! May have been an individual branch, god knows!

You get:

A quarterly magazine
Discount off lots of things, including insurance

But most of all:

You are part of a biking social community where we all have fun. You can go to any of the branch meetings and/or rideouts, chat with other members (and we have thousands) and just be part of the best owners club in the world (IMHO).

Rallies all summer and of course the National Rally which is a very good weekend..... Member could just get into David Silvers museum at the classic day for a donation which saves you money and you get to meet some very nice people in the club from all over the country...... (if you use your membership that is)
