Old Honda
#1
Hello all

Not new to HOC but new to the forum, which I'd not noticed before.  Blush

I have a 1982 Vf750sc which I have been bringing back to life. Not sure why as it plays with me. Get one thing sorted and something else plays up. Currently thinking about breaking the carbs up for a clean and service. Just completed a rebuild of the instruments, rewiring the internals using bits from three donors bought from this country and the US which seems to be awash with parts at the moment.

Due to the Honda's reliability also bought a Triumph Thunderbird a few years ago to do some old man cruising. Both bikes compliment each other.  Cool

Hi Tim and welcome to the forum, and what is wrong with "old man cruising" a lot of us do these days.
Regards

Hello Tim,
I've got a VF 400 that I am trying to get the carbs off, (and then back on again). It seems you have to take them all off together as the linkage screws are only accessible from underneath. Is that right or has mine been put together wrong?
