Return to Honda
#1
Smile Hi there,

I am well used to the CD175/185 series. However, I now have a CB200T, very smart, put together to show, got a little trophy with it, unfortunately the engine is all show too! No nasty noises just very badly adjusted everywhere. Timing 15 deg. retarded ect.

On the 175 you can check the oil flow to the cam box by slackening the two rear outer acorn nuts on the cam box and it should flow.
On this 200 I have a good flow on the right hand side but zero on the left   Huh.
Anyone out there who can tell me if this is normal? Don't want to take the engine out if this OK.

Good to be back on a Honda. I want it back on line for any good weather that might turn up.

Cheers for now,
John.

As far as I remember it should be the same as the 175, there is no internal oil way from one side of the camshaft bearings to the other.
Regards

Chris
