Hi everyone, Iâ€ve recently come back to riding after a 10 year break and got myself an St1300 05 plate, which has been quite a change from my HOG, but now I get to take the kids out with me.

Thanks for the add

Hi Geraint.

I'm just as new, but coincidentally just purchased (Monday) a 2001 ST1100 - which for me is a change from my Fireblades. Presently doing fluid changes and a 'once over' as it had suffered 3-years in not so dry storage. Bit of surface rust on disc carriers etc, and sign's of well-travelled front forks to be spruced up!!

Hi nigel, sounds like s bit of work. Iâ€m not very mechanically minded, but I bought the bike from a friendâ€s father who I know looks after things. Just waiting for his regular mechanic to get back from holiday before sending her in for a check up. She only did 100 miles last year, and Iâ€ve managed 500 in the last two weeks.
itâ€s definately different to what Iâ€m used to, but enjoyable, especially for the kids (9 and 7) to sit and enjoy.
