The issue I have is that not enough HOC members come on here to help out the new ones and provide their own extensive experience (there are exceptions. but not many). So questions go unanswered and there is no general 'banter'.
Their rationale? We have Facebook - why do we need this?
My rationale? To me they serve different purposes. A forum is an ordered set of information - FB is a random set of comments.
Also a lot of forum members are not members of HOC and this could be a showpiece to help them join - but only if it's successful.
Anyway, this is out of my hands. There's only so much I can do - and I have a very busy life so I can't be on here every day (I am sure that's another excuse others will use too).
